Your therapist will review your medical history, go over your current symptoms, then discuss normal abdominal and pelvic anatomy and function, then they may perform a gentle examination. This may include assessing muscles and structures in your abdomen and pelvis, but this will be discussed more in detail with your therapist.

The initial evaluation is 1 hour; follow up treatments are usually 1 hour, but a 30 minute option is available. How many sessions needed will vary depending on the complexity of your case as well as your compliance with the home program.
If you would like to have a conversation with a therapist regarding your specific symptoms we can arrange a phone or email conversation.

Yes! Continuity of care is very important to us so you will always see the same therapist unless it is discussed for another therapist to join the plan of care

Yes! Have your doctor's office write the referral to Flourish Pelvic Therapy instead. This will allow anyone with the practice to work with you.

Yes, our therapist Dr. Aubrey Kern treats men.
When you schedule, make sure to select Aubrey as your therapist. If you select someone else, your appointment will be rescheduled at a later time with her.
If Aubrey's appointment slots are closed, you may message her to join the waitlist or add yourself to the waitlist.

Yes, we do a type of biofeedback therapy but it is manual biofeedback. Meaning, we do not use any external or internal sensors that hook up to a computer. We have found a manual biofeedback approach to be much more helpful and successful for our patients.

If you have never booked with us before, you will need to create a new account on Jane first. You can select a therapist based on info from your doctor, referral, info based in the therapist's bio, or simply first availability!

Please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. You may cancel or reschedule on the scheduling app if it is 24 hours before your appointment. If it is within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will need to call/text/email to cancel.
Cancellations after this time frame may result in a late fee. If you no show, you may also be charged a fee.
